Requirements

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience in cardiovascular or intensive care
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Critical thinking, effective communication, and decisive judgment to work independently in high-pressure environments

Certifications

• Department-specific credentials required, including:
  • ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate (if administering chemotherapy)
  • ACLS for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty areas
• PALS certification required for Pediatric areas (excluding NICU)
• Fetal Monitoring certification required for L&D nurses
• Newly licensed RNs must obtain ACLS, PALS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications within 6 months
