Clinical Manager

About the role

NHC HomeCare Vero Beach is seeking a Clinical Manager/Director of Nursing to manage and direct all patient care services and personnel in our HomeCare agency. We need an energetic, sharp Registered Nurse who loves people and wants to help our agency provide excellent care.

Responsibilities

• Hire and maintain the best clinical staff
• Coordinate referrals and ongoing care with patients, their caregivers, hospitals, physicians, and our clinicians
• Ensure NHC HomeCare meets our patients' needs
• Provide care as needed, but primarily ensure we have the staff to provide that care
• Educate and monitor care provided
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator/Director of Services

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of employment or compact state
• Minimum three years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with at least six months of home care experience
• Minimum one year’s supervisory experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
• Current Driver’s License, car insurance, and a good driving record
• Able to meet Background Screening requirements
