Clinical Manager

About the role

The Clinical Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the WISe program, including planning and managing program activities. In coordination with the Clinical Director, you will assist in developing and enhancing the services provided by the WISe program. Responsibilities include measuring and monitoring program success, reporting on program outcomes, and developing the program’s budget and operational plans. This role involves clinical management, community outreach, care coordination, and staff supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the implementation of the Wraparound with Intensive Services (WISe) in accordance with the WISe Program, Policy and Procedure Manual.
• Develop and update forms, policies, and procedures in compliance with Council on Accreditation (COA), Washington State Administrative Code (WAC), contract stipulations, and Federal Regulations.
• Orient new staff and interns and monitor adherence to clinical practice standards.
• Oversee casework and professional issues of employees, including reviewing client progress notes, mental health assessments, and clinical records to evaluate necessary levels of care.
• Provide oversight to program supervisors, ensuring staff receive appropriate training, coaching, and supervision.
• Develop and maintain effective administrative systems and program management tools.
• Provide supervision and feedback to the WISe team under the direction of the Clinical Director.
• Provide coverage for supervisors and assist with maintaining a 24-hour on-call schedule.
• Demonstrate cultural and socioeconomic sensitivity in client service delivery.
• Participate in quality improvement processes, including collecting outcomes, reviewing case records, and distributing client satisfaction surveys.
• Report data to the local quality improvement representative quarterly.
• Assist in resolving employee issues and report difficulties to the Director.
• Ensure the mental health team maintains organized client files with all required documentation.
• Ensure the clinical program adheres to legal and ethical guidelines of professional associations.
• Conduct and participate in regular clinical staff meetings.
• Model and encourage professional communication among staff and facilitate a positive support network.
• Provide clinical supervision to staff and assume additional tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or other social and health services professions.
• One year of supervisory experience and two years of experience in counseling, case management, and/or community-based treatment.
• Board licensure in counseling or social work (LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT) required.
• Cross-cultural knowledge and competence to work in a multi-cultural setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and adhere to HIPAA standards.
• Commitment to ethical values, confidentiality, and professional conduct.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork.
