About the role
As a Clinical Navigator, you are the face of our new hospital opening Fall 2026. You will meet people at their most challenging times and help them see the potential for success during their rehabilitation stay. You’ll cultivate referral relationships, manage an assigned territory, and complete patient assessments while working under the direction of the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Make sales contacts and analyze referral and admission data from assigned territory.
- Work collaboratively with the business development team, including Admissions Manager, admission staff, nursing, and other internal and external staff to facilitate referral conversion.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for program development and quality improvement initiatives related to customer service, the referral and admission process, and patient and referral source satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders, including prospective patients, family members, physicians, ICU and floor nurses, discharge planners, case managers, and payer representatives.
Requirements
- Degree in a health-related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Current licensure in nursing, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, or speech and language therapy is required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in the designated field of license, preferably with rehabilitation/LTACH and marketing experience.
- Prior marketing and/or rehabilitation/LTACH experience preferred.
