Job Summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a Full-time Inpatient Acute Rehab Clinical Liaison at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, ID. About the Role

As a Clinical Liaison, you will build and maintain referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit. You will assist and coordinate the intake and pre-admission screening process, perform on-site clinical judgment to determine patient appropriateness for admission, communicate rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families, and communicate with external case management and discharge planner personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit
  • Affixes and coordinates the intake and pre-admission screening process
  • Performs on-site clinical judgment to determine the appropriateness of the patient for admission
  • Communicates rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families
  • Communicates with patients, determines admission appropriateness, and assesses the patient's expectations and requirements for participation
  • Secures information relating to patients' resources and benefits
  • Functions as initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities

Requirements

  • Must have Clinical Licensure
  • A bachelor's degree is required
  • Previous marketing/sales experience preferred
  • Previous clinical experience required, with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems
  • Formal Sales Training preferred
  • Valid driver's license

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen
  • Must be able to pass a criminal history check

Pay

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $80,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
