Clinical Liaison (CL) Acute Rehabilitation

Frye Regional Medical Center – Hickory, NC – Inpatient Acute Rehab – Clinical Liaison (Full‑time). Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is dedicated to making communities healthier. As a Clinical Liaison you will use your skills, compassion, and dedication to improve the lives of patients and support the acute rehabilitation unit.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain referral relationships to drive appropriate admissions to the acute rehab unit.
• Assist and coordinate the intake and pre‑admission screening process.
• Perform on‑site clinical judgment (typically at a referring facility) to determine patient appropriateness for admission.
• Communicate rehabilitation and facility options to patients and families.
• Assess patients’ expectations and requirements for participation and determine admission suitability.
• Secure information relating to patients’ resources and benefits.
• Serve as the initial contact for external case management and discharge planner personnel with payors and hospital facilities.

Requirements

• Current clinical licensure.
• Previous clinical experience required, with demonstrated skills in clinical assessment and EMR systems.
• Previous marketing or sales experience preferred.
• Formal sales training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
