Clinical Liaison

Job Summary

Counsels patient assessments to identify patients for potential admission into the system. Manages referrals and admissions generated through assigned hospitals and territories, representing the hospital with professionalism towards referral sources.

Essential Functions

• Uses prospecting methods to generate leads including initiating personal/business contacts, sourcing expansion opportunities through existing and new accounts, cold calling, and educational presentations.
• Maintain positive relationships with current referral sources and actively participate in professional and community associations.
• Expands the number of referral sources in assigned territories.
• Manage the admissions process as an ambassador for patients who meet the admissions requirements.
• Operates within budgeted parameters by carefully planning travel and monitoring expenses.
• Conducts assessments in accordance with company standards and meets with patients and families to explain ScionHealth Care and services.
• Works closely with patients and their family members to educate them on the benefits of the ScionHealth Hospitals.
• Conducts tours of the hospital with families and referral sources.
• Establishes strong and successful relationships with referral sources throughout their territory.
• Manages the referrals and admission process for referred patients.
• Works cooperatively as a member of a team.

Qualifications

• Education: Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, nursing, or other clinical or sales-related field (Required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, healthcare administration, nursing, or other clinical or sales-related field (Preferred)
• Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience in the form of extensive healthcare sales work in lieu of Bachelor's degree (May be Considered)
• Licenses/Certifications: Administrative Services DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State Upon Hire (Required); License or Certifications in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy Upon Hire (referred)
• Experience: 1-3 years in sales or marketing (Required); 1-3 years in healthcare (Required)
