Clinical Liaison
About the role
The Clinical Liaison (CL) at AMG Specialty Hospital – Northwest Indiana is a full-time position reporting directly to the hospital CEO. This role involves working with other Clinical/Community Liaisons, Admission Coordinators, and the Corporate Team to drive patient census.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for medical necessity
- Conduct educational presentations and provide facility tours
- Cultivate relationships with referral sources
- Work with other CLs to achieve group performance indicators
- Provide education to referring facilities, providers, and the community about hospital services
Requirements
- Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of work experience in healthcare-related marketing
- Valid state driver’s license and up-to-date insurance
- Basic computer knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills
- Ability to articulate, interpret, and explain complex information
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
- Must be able to drive daily to and from meetings, referral sources, and potential referral sources
Qualifications
This position requires a combination of education and experience. Applicants must possess a valid state driver’s license and up-to-date insurance. Basic computer knowledge and excellent interpersonal and human relations skills are also required.
Skills
Strong communication skills, ability to build relationships, and proficiency in using computers are essential for success in this role.
