Clinical Liaison
About the role
Full‑Time Clinical Liaison (RN, LPN, or Respiratory Therapist) reporting directly to the hospital Chief Executive Officer at Charleston‑AMG Specialty Hospital in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The Clinical Liaison works with other Clinical/Community Liaisons, CEOs, Admission Coordinators, and the Corporate Team to drive patient census, promote hospital services, cultivate relationships with referral sources, conduct educational presentations, and provide facility tours.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for medical necessity.
- Educate referring facilities, providers, and the community about hospital services.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with referral sources.
- Conduct educational presentations and facility tours.
- Collaborate with Clinical/Community Liaisons, CEOs, Admission Coordinators, and corporate staff to consistently increase patient census.
- Monitor group performance indicators (average census) and individual performance indicators (Admit‑Referral report).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree.
- Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist preferred.
- 2+ years of healthcare‑related marketing experience preferred.
- Valid state driver’s license and up‑to‑date insurance.
- Ability to read, interpret, and communicate effectively in English.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.
- Additional languages desirable.
