Clinical Laboratory Technologist (MT) - Generalist

About the role

Clinical Laboratory Technologist performing high-complexity diagnostic testing across biochemical, blood bank, hematology, microbiology, and urinalysis disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and analyze laboratory tests
• Ensure accuracy through quality control
• Calibrate and maintain equipment
• Document results in compliance with regulations
• Communicate critical test findings promptly
• Collaborate with medical staff regarding blood bank and tissue services
• Support onboarding and training of new staff

Qualifications & Skills

• BS in Medical/Clinical Laboratory Technology or related science meeting NYSDOH requirements
• Active, valid NYSED Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
• Preferred: ASCP certification or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency with laboratory automation
• Effective communication of technical data under pressure
