Clinical Laboratory Technologist

Role Summary This position involves performing clinical laboratory tests, specimen collection, and processing in various sections such as Hematology, Microbiology, Blood Banking, and Urinalysis. Responsibilities include accurate testing using automated and manual methods, quality control, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation. The role requires effective communication with healthcare providers, proficiency in phlebotomy across all age groups, and adherence to safety protocols. Flexibility to work weekends, overnight, holidays, and be on-call is essential. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or related field, with relevant certification recognized by NAACLS.Proficiency in laboratory procedures, instrument use, and microscopic analysis.Knowledge of Blood Bank, Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Microbiology/PCR, and Urinalysis.Demonstrated phlebotomy skills and specimen collection techniques.
