Clinical Laboratory Scientist III

Job Summary

You will be responsible for:

• performing complex medical laboratory tests for diagnosis and treatment of disease
• analyzing and assuming accountability for accurate test results
• maintaining complicated instruments
• monitoring quality control and quality assurance programs
• assuring compliance with regulations and standards of regulatory agencies
• managing special projects

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Associates degree required and Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• 5 years experience in microbiology Clinical Laboratory setting is required

Minimum License and Certificates Required:

• One of the following certifications is required: MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), MT(AMT), MT(AAB), CLS(NCA), MT(HEW), CLT(NCA), MLT(ASCP), or MLT(AMT)
• Certification is waived for those with 10 years of lab experience
