Clinical Laboratory Scientist
About the role
The Clinical Laboratory Scientist will perform complex laboratory tests to ensure accurate, timely results vital for patient diagnosis and treatment. They will execute a wide range of analytical procedures across various lab disciplines, analyze specimens, operate/maintain instruments, interpret results, and conduct quality control.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes various samples in all departments of the Laboratory, following standard procedures.
- Affirms the validity of results obtained according to age and sex, accurately records and reports results.
- Documents problems in the Laboratory and solves or suggests corrective actions.
- Performs routine calibration and adjustment of equipment, checks standardization curves.
- Receives or obtains specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Performs and assesses quality control with each test to verify accuracy and reproducibility of tests; if out of control, takes corrective action.
Requirements
- California Clinical Lab Scientist license

Pay
$49.78 - $74.05 /hour
Schedule
80 hours per pay period, Wed - Wed (2100 - 0730), Night Shift, No remote work
