About the Role
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will perform essential diagnostic laboratory testing and quality control procedures that directly support patient care. This role involves moderate- to high-complexity testing as well as oversight of laboratory systems, equipment, and supplies in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic testing and quality control in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Prepare reagents and accurately report laboratory results
- Review and oversee moderate- to high-complexity laboratory testing
- Monitor and maintain laboratory computer applications
- Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventories
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Collaborate effectively with laboratory and clinical teams
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or a related scientific field (Required)
- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field (Preferred)
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (Required)
- Minimum of four (4) months of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
Schedule
Full-Time | Varied shifts: 6am-10:30p; 6am-2:30p | Every other weekend
