Clinical Laboratory Manager I- Microbiology- FT Day Shift
About the role
The incumbent is directly responsible for all technical, administrative and supervisory functions in a major division of the lab; a highly specialized and technically complex laboratory unit or function; or a division with multiple shift operations. Position may have CLS Supervisor(s) reporting to it.
Responsibilities
- Performs bench testing as needed.
Requirements
- Three or more years applicable experience
- Prior experience in supervision
- Current CA CLS License
Qualifications
- Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
