About the role

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist independently performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special diagnostic procedures on blood and other body fluids from patients of all age groups.
• Manages stressful situations with tact and simultaneously delivers good patient care.
• Maintains exceptional organizational ability and demonstrates advanced problem-solving skills.
• Works under extremely busy conditions and provides on-call coverage.
• Communicates verbally, in writing, and electronically with colleagues and patients.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and exhibits courtesy and tact.

Requirements

• One year experience as a generalist clinical laboratory scientist in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Baccalaureate in Medical Technology or equivalent.
• Current national certification required.
• Montana State Licensure as CLS required within six (6) months from the date of hire.
