About the role

The Clinical Lab Scientist position at Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital is a per diem role.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory tests using automated and manual methods.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all assigned tests.
• Interpret test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers.
• Adhere to quality control procedures to maintain laboratory standards.
• May assist in training new lab personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Current certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or equivalent.
• Experience in clinical laboratory setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory techniques.

Qualifications

• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems used in laboratory settings.
