Clinical Lab Scientist- Per Diem

About the role

The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of standardized and highly specialized analyses of tests in Chemistry, Immunology, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Microbiology, and/or Blood Bank.

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and reliable patient test results (pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical)
• Supports and facilitates communications through computer and phone systems
• Maintains customer relationships and provides a positive, professional, and empathetic understanding to all customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology / Clinical Laboratory Science / Biological Science or equivalent
• Current Licensure as a CLS in the State of California
• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships across the hospital
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Willingness to work variable shifts and overtime as required
• Identifies and distinguishes colors

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions

• On-site role at Foothill Regional Medical Center in Tustin, CA
• Hourly rate: $55.00 per hour
