Frye Regional Medical Center is seeking a dynamic Clinical Lab Scientist to join our team. This position is part of Lifepoint Health, a diverse healthcare network with facilities nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Follows standardized procedures and prepares samples for testing.
• Operates laboratory equipment in a high-quality, effective manner.
• Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and reports/document results per organizational standards.
• Runs tests and analyzes results to be reported to the patient, physician, or registered nurse.
• Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment.
• Maintains accurate and complete records of all quality control tests completed.
• Supports the culture of service excellence throughout the organization.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical Lab Services preferred.
• ASCP certification or eligibility required.

Qualifications

• Willing and able to demonstrate appropriate core competencies annually or as requested.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Pay

The pay for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position is available for a Full Time Night shift, rotating weekends and holidays.
