Clinical Lab Assistant - All locations - All shifts - Resource

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-analytic processing of specimens
• Collects specimens
• Accessions, labels, and distributes specimens including blood samples by venipuncture and capillary puncture in all patient areas
• Instructs patients in the collection of urine samples and tolerance tests in all patient areas
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and/or have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience preferred, but not required
• Preferred qualifications include 1 year of experience or graduation from a phlebotomy program
