About the role

You will help define the clinical standards that guide how we scale our platform. You’ll translate clinical judgment, medical evidence, and the realities of clinical practice into structured frameworks that inform how medical records are interpreted, documentation is evaluated, and patient access workflows are executed. Your work will improve the accuracy, speed, and consistency of a platform used by providers across specialties.

• Work closely with our product, engineering, and AI teams throughout the development process: defining what good looks like, shaping decision logic, surfacing edge cases, evaluating system performance, and helping determine how the platform should behave in complex or ambiguous situations.
• Shape the foundation of how Forus supports providers and patients at scale and help us build clinically reliable technology across an expanding set of medicines, specialties, and workflows.
• Be expected to "act like an owner" and commit yourself to Forus' success.

Qualifications

• 2–8 years as a board certified Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic medicine (DO), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or similar advanced clinical role, directly providing patient care and clinical decision-making.
• Experience as part of an interdisciplinary team in outpatient or specialty settings, particularly in contexts involving medication access, prior authorization, or therapy initiation.
• Strong written and oral communication, with an ability to translate clinical complexity into context and logic that can be understood by non-clinical teams.
• Comfort and/or a strong interest in collaborating with product, engineering, data science and commercial teammates on building new technologies.
• Strong judgment, intellectual curiosity, and an ability to work through unfamiliar and ambiguous problems.
• A high NPS with your former teammates.
