About the Role

The Respiratory Therapist provides high-level patient care in a technologically advanced clinical setting, managing ventilators, airway support, and pulmonary therapies. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes, model proficiency through precepting, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care utilizing respiratory protocols and best practices.
• Manage ventilator integration, airway management, and pulmonary support across care levels.
• Engage in process improvement and clinical projects at various organizational levels.
• Mentor new staff and promote evidence-based practices.
• Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.

Requirements

• BSRT in respiratory therapy or ongoing BSRT; RRT certification; state licensure.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, NPS, and ACCS preferred.
• Instructional teaching experience is advantageous.
