Clinical Instructor - Respiratory Therapy

About the Role

A Respiratory Therapist providing direct patient care in a technologically advanced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize respiratory protocols and best practices to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage ventilator integration, airway management, and adaptive pulmonary support across multiple care levels.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Precept new healthcare staff.
• Contribute to safety and quality initiatives through clinical and process improvements.

Key Duties

• Provide top-of-scope respiratory care.
• Support clinical growth and ensure safety and quality at the point of care.
• Engage in professional development and process improvement initiatives within a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

• BSRT in respiratory therapy or ongoing progress toward it; internal candidates may hold an ASRT.
• State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT).
• NBRC - RRT certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience.
• Instructional teaching experience, both formal and informal.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS, ACCS, and NPS preferred.
