About the Role
A Respiratory Therapist providing direct patient care in a technologically advanced clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Utilize respiratory protocols and best practices to optimize patient outcomes.
- Manage ventilator integration, airway management, and adaptive pulmonary support across multiple care levels.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Precept new healthcare staff.
- Contribute to safety and quality initiatives through clinical and process improvements.
Key Duties
- Provide top-of-scope respiratory care.
- Support clinical growth and ensure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Engage in professional development and process improvement initiatives within a supportive, growth-oriented environment.
Requirements
- BSRT in respiratory therapy or ongoing progress toward it; internal candidates may hold an ASRT.
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (RT).
- NBRC - RRT certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care respiratory therapy experience.
- Instructional teaching experience, both formal and informal.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS, ACCS, and NPS preferred.
