Clinical Instructor of Radiation Oncology

Responsibilities

• Ongoing evaluation and management of patients diagnosed with cancer
• The delivery of radiation therapy-related care
• Conduct patient consultations and treatment across various cancer disease sites utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including proton therapy
• Research activities, including initiating clinical trials
• Education responsibilities may include teaching, training and mentoring of radiation oncology residents, medical physics residents, medical physics graduate students, visiting physics residents or trainees from other institutions or other countries, etc.
• Other informal and formal teachings include but are not limited to participating in resident didactic series, both as a lecturer and as an in-person discussant

Requirements

• Expertise in the specific area of proton therapy
• M.D. degree
• Board Eligible for the American Board of Radiology

Qualifications

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to build and establish a clinical practice in the Radiation Oncology department. The applicant may also participate in educational and clinical research activities.
