About the role
The Department of Health Science Professions at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas is seeking applicants for a non-tenure-eligible Clinical Instructor position to teach Anatomy and Physiology. This is a nine-month appointment with the possibility of teaching summer courses. The role requires flexibility to teach morning, afternoon, and evening courses and labs.
Responsibilities
- Teaching is the primary responsibility for this position, along with additional service and departmental duties as assigned.
- Teach undergraduate courses in Health Science Professions for both majors and non-majors, with a focus on human anatomy and physiology.
- Collaborate with faculty on course design, curriculum development, and laboratory activities.
- Participate in departmental, college, and university initiatives.
- Advise students and serve on committees.
Qualifications
- Earned M.S. in Biological Sciences or related field from an accredited institution.
- College-level teaching experience.
- Prior college teaching experience and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Biological Sciences or Anatomy and Physiology–related coursework; specific discipline is open.
- Solid foundation in anatomy and physiology required to effectively teach and assess rigorous undergraduate-level courses.
