About the role
This adjunct instructional position will provide high-quality, competency-based instruction in Anatomy & Physiology to prepare students for careers in healthcare and related fields.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and demonstration sessions in accordance with the program curriculum and guidelines.
- Develop and update lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments.
- Evaluate and record student performance, maintaining accurate attendance and grade records.
- Maintain current knowledge of trends and developments in Anatomy & Physiology and related healthcare fields.
- Provide academic advising, mentorship, and support to students.
- Collaborate with faculty and administration to improve instructional quality and student learning outcomes.
- Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed in the classroom.
- Contribute to program accreditation efforts and institutional assessment activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of student records and institutional information.
Requirements
- Coursework in Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution
- Minimum of three years’ professional teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology or related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of human body systems, physiology, and related laboratory practices.
- Able to integrate technology into classroom instruction.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students.
- Commitment to student success and workforce preparation.
- Must possess a valid Tennessee driver’s license.

- Current federal law requires identification and eligibility verification prior to employment.
- Only U.S. citizens and aliens authorized to work in the United States may be employed.
- A criminal/financial background check will be required for applicants elected.
