About the role

The Labor Education Action Research Network (LEARN) at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking an energetic and passionate labor educator to join our teaching staff. We are looking for someone who can lead courses for working adults, union members and leaders, and labor relations professionals.

Responsibilities

• Designing customized curriculum to meet the needs of clients
• Coordinating and implementing existing educational programs, often in collaboration with other faculty and staff
• Teaching using diverse methodologies to effectively relate to a wide variety of learners from various backgrounds

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of and/or experience working with worker organizations and/or in the labor relations field
• Strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity and inclusion
