Position Overview
The University of Michigan Department of Internal Medicine seeks a faculty member in the Division of Nephrology. The successful candidate will engage in clinical care, teaching, and some clinical research within inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nephrology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Engage in clinical research activities
- Collaborate effectively with other researchers and clinical faculty
Required Qualifications
- M.D. degree with postgraduate clinical training
- Board eligibility or certification in Nephrology
- Eligibility for appropriate Michigan medical licensure
- Demonstrated clinical competence and teaching skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
