About the role

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Training, the Clinical Instructional Designer will design and deliver clinical trainings to customers virtually and in person, collaborate in measuring the effectiveness of trainings, and work to grow clinical training offerings. This position is dedicated to a Spring Health customer, is full time, fully remote, and requires up to 30% travel for in-person training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clinical content and training materials utilizing modern engagement and instructional design techniques.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical trainings in an engaging and impactful manner.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to identify and address specific training needs.
  • Utilize the ADDIE model to develop thoughtful curriculum and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Spring Health policies, confidentiality, compliance, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate on the expansion of clinical training offerings and the enhancement of outcome measurements.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability within a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal teams to support unique account requirements.
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics, including building virtual event platforms, selecting clinical providers, preparing materials, and tracking evaluation metrics.
  • Work closely with large Jumbo customers to consult on Training and Programming planning, partnering with internal stakeholders to manage and advise accounts.

What success looks like

  • Maintain an average feedback rating of 4.5/5 or higher for live events, including on-site delivery.
  • Optimize operational efficiency for meeting customer needs related to Clinical Programming and Training.
  • Develop deep relationships and a strong cultural understanding of the dedicated customer to ensure trainings feel highly tailored to their workforce.

Requirements

  • An unrestricted clinical license to practice psychotherapy (Psychologist, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, etc.). We are unable to accept applications from individuals requiring clinical supervision.
  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, with at least 1 year of post-licensure experience.
  • Experience with instructional design and content development is required.
  • Proven background in corporate training or public speaking, with a strong grasp of adult learning principles, virtual engagement techniques, and training evaluation methods.
  • High competency engaging learners virtually; proficient with Google Suite, Zoom, and alternative event/webinar platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written professional communication skills to engage effectively with corporate customers and fellow Spring Health team members.

Pay

The target salary range for this position is $80,000 - $92,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by factors including experience, location, and internal pay equity.
