Responsibilities
- Enhances healthcare delivery by analyzing clinical data and integrating informatics solutions into clinical workflows.
- Develops and maintains clinical information systems to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
- Trains medical staff on electronic health records and clinical informatics tools.
- Maintains compliance with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards.
- Evaluates new technologies and recommends improvements to clinical practice and workflows.
- Serves as a resource for clinical research through effective data management and reporting.
- Solves technical issues related to clinical informatics systems in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in clinical informatics or healthcare required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and clinical data systems required.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards, including HIPAA, required.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills required.
