Essential Functions
- Interact with business and clinical caregivers to build productive relationships
- Work flexible hours to meet project requirements
- Provide customer experience and service utilizing verbal and written communication skills
- Prioritize and organize work with attention to detail and limited supervision
- Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, virtual meeting applications, and scheduling applications
Skills
- Demonstrated understanding of how clinical systems are utilized to provide patient care by a variety of caregivers and specialties
- Use informatics fundamental skills to positively impact people, process, and tools
- Use basic project management skills to contribute to technology project deliverables
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of workflows in a healthcare system
- Proven experience engaging providers, nurses, and other clinicians in learning through presentation and communication skills
- Experience applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to impact quality and safety
- Experience participating and leading deliverables of Informatics projects
- Experience working with Cerner, Epic, or other EHR vendors
- Experience or training in the use of Continuous Improvement
- Registered Nurse and other licensed clinical incumbents must hold and maintain current state licensure
Physical Requirements
- Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs
- Frequent interactions with customers that require employee to communicate as well as understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately
- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy
- This includes frequent computer, phone, and cable set-up and use
- Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transport, pull, and push equipment
- Will also work on hands and knees and bend to set-up, troubleshoot, lift, and carry supplies and equipment
- Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items
- For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles
