Clinical Imaging Research Associate Professor

About the role

Lead innovative research in ultra-high field MRI, specifically 7T imaging, to advance clinical and translational neuroimaging applications.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, design, and manage research projects involving MRI technology
• Secure external funding and establish an independent research program
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor students and fellows
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences
• Provide leadership in imaging research initiatives and maintain regulatory compliance
• Contribute to institutional service through teaching, committee participation, and professional activities

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Science, or related field
• Proven success in scientific research with major external grants
• Expertise in medical imaging, MRI protocols, and data analysis
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
• Experience supervising research teams and working in multidisciplinary environments
• Knowledge of clinical regulatory requirements and research ethics
• Organizational skills with attention to detail and critical thinking
