Associate Professor, Clinical Imaging Research

About the Role

The position involves leading translational and clinical research in ultra-high field MRI, primarily at 7T, including designing studies, acquiring and analyzing data, and publishing findings. The successful candidate will develop an independent, externally-funded research program, supervise students and fellows, and foster collaborations within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and lead MRI research projects
• Secure funding and establish research programs
• Collaborate with internal and external investigators
• Publish research findings and present at conferences
• Mentor students and supervise research personnel
• Contribute to service activities such as teaching and committee work

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Science, or related fields
• Proven record of peer-reviewed publications
• Success in securing external grants
• Expertise in medical imaging and MRI protocols
• Strong communication skills and leadership ability
• Knowledge of clinical regulatory requirements
