Integrated Clinical Hub - Clinical Hub Manager Integrated Clinical Hub (ICH) Scottish Ambulance Service Lead the future of urgent and unscheduled care in Scotland The Scottish Ambulance Service is seeking an exceptional leader to join our national Integrated Clinical Hub (ICH) as a Clinical Hub Manager. This is a unique opportunity to shape how clinical expertise, technology and operational leadership come together to deliver safe, effective and person-centred care for patients across Scotland. The Integrated Clinical Hub is a national virtual service providing clinical decision-making, telephone assessment, hear and treat services, referral management and operational support to ensure patients receive the right care, in the right place, at the right time. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance, clinical quality and operational management of the Integrated Clinical Hub. You will play a key role in service development, clinical governance, workforce leadership, financial management and strategic planning, while supporting the delivery of national priorities for urgent and unscheduled care. The Role Reporting To The General Manager, You Will Lead a national multidisciplinary clinical workforce across multiple virtual and physical locations.Provide operational and professional leadership, ensuring delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services.Drive continuous improvement, innovation and service redesign across urgent and unscheduled care pathways.Ensure effective clinical governance, quality assurance and risk management arrangements are in place.Lead workforce planning, performance management and staff engagement activities.Manage delegated budgets and resources effectively, ensuring value for money and financial accountability.Build strong partnerships with NHS Boards, NHS 24, clinical leaders, emergency services, Scottish Government and other key stakeholders.Deputise for the General Manager as required and represent the Service at local and national forums. About You We are looking for an inspiring and credible leader who can demonstrate: Current registration as an NMC Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Paramedic.Significant senior operational management experience within a complex healthcare environment.Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering high-performing services.Strong knowledge of urgent and unscheduled care, clinical governance, patient safety and risk management.Excellent analytical, communication and influencing skills.Experience of service improvement, transformation and change management.The ability to make sound decisions in complex, fast-paced and demanding environments.A commitment to the values of NHS Scotland and the Scottish Ambulance Service.
