Requirements
- Minimum Education/Degree Required: Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or closely related field from an accredited institution.
- Required Qualifications:
- Documented training and supervised experience in evidence-based psychological interventions, including a minimum of one year (or equivalent) of applied clinical practice.
- Documented training and experience in psychological assessment, including administration, scoring, and interpretation of commonly used standardized instruments.
- Demonstrated experience teaching and mentoring students, through at least one year of graduate-level instruction, supervision, teaching assistantship, or comparable instructional experience in psychology or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience delivering clinically effective and ethically sound services, with a minimum of one year of direct service experience with college students or a comparable population.
- Demonstrated experience with writing and verbal communication skills, through professional reports, presentations, or other formal communication products.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across academic and clinical settings, with evidence of interdisciplinary teamwork or coordinated service delivery.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed psychologist in Idaho at time of hire.
- Experience working in a university counseling center, college mental health setting, or similar integrated training environment.
- Experience with crisis intervention, outreach, consultation, and brief model therapy.
- Experience teaching doctoral or graduate students in psychology or a related health profession.
- Experience supervising practicum students, interns, or other clinical trainees.
- Experience mentoring dissertation or other student scholarly work.
- Familiarity with APA accreditation standards, doctoral training, or competency-based clinical education.
- Knowledge of FERPA, HIPAA, risk management, and documentation standards relevant to higher education clinical settings.
- Experience conducting psychological assessments, evaluating for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disorders.
