About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine is seeking a full-time physician in its Section of Adolescent Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient clinical care to a diverse adolescent population in a large multidisciplinary health center.
• Participate in the teaching and education of medical residents and students.
• Implement and develop an adolescent medicine clinical practice.

Qualifications

• MD/DO required.
• BE/BC in Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary setting for treating eating disorders (including obesity care), menstrual disorders, depression and anxiety, substance abuse, risk behaviors, chronic health issues, reproductive health, HIV prevention and/or treatment, sports medicine and/or transitional health care issues preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English or Creole/English helpful.
• Teaching experience expected.
