Clinical Faculty Endoscopist
About the role
UMass Memorial Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Clinical Faculty Endoscopist to join their Gastroenterology team. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive gastroenterology services for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of gastrointestinal endoscopic procedures, including but not limited to: Upper GI endoscopy, Push-enteroscopy, Colonoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
- Diagnose and manage patients with gastrointestinal disorders, utilizing clinical expertise to guide treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with residents, fellows, clinical nurses, and advanced practitioners to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Participate in educational activities involving trainees and contribute to the academic mission of the department.
- Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and institutional policies to promote patient safety and quality outcomes.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Pay
Hiring Range: $350,000 - $475,000. Final offer may vary based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
