Candidates must be able to come onsite for this role Will be traveling to site locations within the New Haven Connecticut area Knowledge of HL7 would be a nice to have Must Have Some Experience With BMDI Equipment Additional Skills & Qualifications Position Summary The Clinical Engineering Integration Support professional is responsible for the implementation, integration, maintenance, and support of biomedical devices and clinical information systems across the client. This role combines biomedical engineering expertise, information technology, and clinical workflow knowledge to support seamless medical device interoperability, reliable data exchange, and patient safety. The position leads and supports clinical integration projects throughout their lifecycle, from requirements gathering and workflow analysis to implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing operational support. The successful candidate collaborates with clinical teams, Clinical Engineering, Information Technology Services (ITS), facilities, vendors, and electronic medical record (EMR) analysts to deliver reliable, standardized, and effective clinical technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Clinical Engineering and Technical Integration Install, configure, maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and test biomedical devices, associated hardware, software, and network infrastructure used for clinical integration. Provide technical guidance for medical device installations, including network connectivity, power requirements, mounting, and other infrastructure needs. Analyze, configure, and validate clinical device data and interfaces used to transmit Health Level Seven (HL7) messages to electronic medical records. Support medical device interoperability across clinical applications and specialized areas, including radiology, anesthesiology, laboratory services, and patient monitoring. Identify root causes of technical issues and implement solutions to restore clinical engineering operations. Maintain accurate medical device inventory information and recommend improvements to inventory tracking and lifecycle management. Support standardization, risk management, quality control, and process improvement initiatives relate Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of New Haven, CT. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
