Clinical Educator Urgent Care
Job Description
Counsults monthly center inspections, including nursing visits, diagnostic, pharmacy inspections, and engineering and work practice monitoring.
Tracks corrective actions related to inspections.
Performs new hire training, post-training assessments, and assists with ongoing clinical in-service education and remediation.
Participates in root-cause analysis exercises related to Origami events.
Performs quality control reporting, reviews laboratory quality control, and documents corrective actions.
Assists with new center openings, including setting up clinics and traveling to multiple states as needed.
Maintains effective communication with clinical staff and center managers.
Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to applicable equipment.
Completes special assignments to ensure smooth department operations, including in-state and out-of-state travel.
Serves as BAT/DUA instructor and responsible for certifying all clinical staff as well as recertifications every 5 years.

Knowledge of Surgical Services, PAT/Pre-Op/OR/PACU/SPD, and AORN and AAMI standards
Technologically competent with proficiency in Word/PowerPoint, Excel, and computer literacy
Effective, professional communicator with strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating appropriately to all levels of staff, nursing leadership, and executive leadership
Self-directed with the initiative to develop educational programs and a growth mindset
Knowledge of accreditation requirements, standards of practice, and regulatory compliance
