About the role
Hawai‘i Pacific Health (HPH) seeks a Surgical Instrument Processing Tech Clinical Educator to join the Academy for Healthcare Innovation (AHI). The ideal candidate is passionate about shaping the future of clinical education and empowering healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with educators to prepare, organize, direct, and conduct education for students.
- Identify and plan educational activities to meet student educational needs.
- Develop and implement clinical education and teaching tools.
- Function as a consulting and collaborative partner in the development of clinical education and teaching tools.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate of completion from a Surgical Instrument Processing Tech training program.
- National recognized certification.
- Two (2) years clinical practice in program area OR related experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree (preferred).
- Experience within an accredited educational institution (preferred).
- Leadership experience (preferred).
Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of surgical instrument processing techniques.
