Clinical Educator - Per Diem - Dayshift

About the role

The Clinical Educator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based education programs to enhance clinical competencies of nurses and staff in an acute care setting. They collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure staff meet regulatory standards and organizational goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions for nurses and staff.
• Create educational materials and resources.
• Assess clinical competencies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as Joint Commission requirements.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and strategic planning initiatives to improve patient outcomes and staff development.
• Maintain knowledge of clinical policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead competency assessments and support staff onboarding and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
• Current RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification (ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred).
