Clinical Educator, AMI Clinical Engagement

About the role

The Clinical Educator will play an integral role in deploying AMI (Allergan Medical Institute) training by leading on-site educational programs at Allergan Training Centers. This role includes working with leadership to uphold training center policies and procedures and participating in ongoing learning, including anatomy labs and hands-on training.

Responsibilities

• Execute AMI training strategies for facial training sessions.
• Deliver presentations and clinical training during training programs.
• Assess and optimize clinical workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Travel to support clinical HCP educational engagement training programs.
• Collaborate with leadership and supervisors to monitor and report clinical activities with AMI Training Centers.
• Provide feedback on clinical training programs to expand reach, increase effectiveness, and strengthen AMI brand sentiment.
• Participate in ongoing job-related clinical training such as anatomy labs.
• Partner closely with Clinical Operations, Environmental Health and Safety, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to ensure all guidelines, regulations, and standards are met.
• Promote a safety-conscious work environment and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Assist with the development of clinical content for the ongoing optimization of training curricula.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be based in Irvine, CA to work at our AMI site.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Current, unencumbered NP/PA/RN license, with a strong preference for licensure within CA, GA, or TX.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience with facial injectables.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with cannula.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a clinical education role is preferred.
• Ability to deliver educational presentations to small and large groups with measurable results.
• Strong analytical, organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to make prompt decisions with strong problem-solving skills in a rapidly changing environment.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of FDA and regulatory statutes as applied to the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio.
• Ability to travel up to 50%; evenings, overnight, weekends, and domestic travel may be required.
• Responsible for performing all duties in compliance with FDA’s Quality System Regulation (QSR), ISO13485, Canadian Medical Device Regulations, and other international regulatory requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and hear for up to 8 hours per day.
• Regularly required to lift and carry up to ten pounds and occasionally up to twenty-five pounds.
• Daily keyboard data entry.
• Close vision abilities required.

Work Environment

Most work is performed in an office-like setting with low to moderate noise levels. Regular presence in a clinical or laboratory setting is required, where protective equipment or other health and safety measures are necessary to protect against chemical, biological, or other hazards. Noise levels may be high.
