Clinical Education Specialist Renal Dialysis

Duties & Responsibilities

• Designs, coordinates, facilitates, onboarding and orientation programs for licensed and unlicensed team members.
• Evaluates orientation and onboarding experiences to ensure newly hired team members are prepared to practice safely and independently.
• Mentors, develops, and evaluates preceptors to enhance learning experiences for all new hires.

• Acts as a resource to staff, department, and safety coaches related to patient safety issues.
• Supports quality improvement standards; regulatory standards; patient safety standards; error prevention tools, methodologies, technologies and resources.

Minimum Qualifications

• Degrees Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is required.
• Five (5) years of clinical pediatric experience is required.

Licenses & Certifications

• BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire.
• Registered Nurse.

Additional Requirements

• BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association with at least 6 months left before expiration is required upon hire.
• Current Colorado RN License.
• American Nurses Credentialing Center(ANCC) or Magnet approved certification.

Pay Information

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience. Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $97,718.13 to $146,577.19
