Clinical Education & Professional Development Specialist
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing OR Bachelor's in science in nursing with a master's degree in education, organizational development, healthcare leadership, business administration or related field.
- Three years’ experience in curriculum design and education or leadership.
- RN license in the state of Illinois.
- Nursing Professional Development (NPD) certification (must obtain within 1 year of hire if not certified).
- Education: Doctorate of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing preferred.
- Experience: Previous work in simulation and research preferred.
Pay
Pay range for this position is $40.42 - $58.01/hour. Actual pay is based on years of licensure.

Overview
The Clinical Education & Professional Development Specialist serves as a member of the OSF HealthCare Education and Professional Development team to develop innovative education and professional development programs to meet the strategic goals of OSF HealthCare. This position will be responsible for using education science while leading the development of high-quality education and programs provided in various blended education settings and modalities. The ideal candidate is an early adopter and explorer of technology to provide innovative education to our Mission Partners across all OSF HealthCare.
