About the Role
The Clinical Education-EMR Support Specialist plays a critical role in bridging the gap between clinical staff and electronic medical record (EMR) technology to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive training, support, and guidance to healthcare professionals on the effective use of EMR systems. Responsibilities
- Initial and ongoing training of clinic end-users on the institutional EMR system.
- Develop, deliver, and update training programs and materials tailored to various clinical roles to facilitate effective use of EMR systems.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to clinical staff encountering challenges with EMR functionalities.
- Collaborate with clinical leadership and IT teams to identify system enhancements and training needs based on user feedback and workflow analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and user adoption rates, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between clinical users and technical teams to communicate issues, recommend solutions, and support system upgrades or changes.
