Clinical Education Coordinator - Respiratory

About the role

Coordinates in conjunction with the leadership team: respiratory competencies and ongoing education required for unit specific aspects of care. Coordinates and/or performs a variety of staff development functions to include: department specific needs assessment, development of goals and objectives, implementation methods, evaluation measures and instruction of education activities. Assists the Director of Respiratory Therapy with maintaining and developing policies and procedure for the department. Interprets the guidelines for the continuing respiratory education based upon professional practice guidelines. Ability to work flexible schedule, as needed to accommodate the need of the department.

Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, (NBRC-RRT) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT/RCP-State) Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner Texas, Associate Degree required, Bachelor's preferred, 2 years experience preferred.
