Clinical Education Coordinator - Imaging

About the Role

The Clinical Education Coordinator oversees the delivery of unit-based clinical learning and training for imaging residents within Imaging Services. They coordinate, direct, and monitor education activities, ensuring adherence to established roles and guidelines. In collaboration with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, they recruit, train, and mentor imaging residents. They regularly assess and report on the effectiveness of training activities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliable delivery of clinical education and training.
• Coordinate education-related tasks within Imaging Services.
• Recruit, train, and coach imaging residents.
• Monitor and report on unit-based educational activities and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Nuclear Medicine program.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years imaging technologist experience in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology, or Mammography.
• Prior educator or leadership experience is preferred.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB certification required, along with BCLS certification.
