Clinical Downtime Coordinator - Nursing Administration
What You’ll Do
- Lead hospital-wide clinical downtime preparedness and response
- Develop and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
- Cook up and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
- Coordinate downtime drills and real-time incident response
- Partner with Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, and Registration to optimize manual workflows
- Train clinical teams on downtime procedures and emergency readiness
- Track patient safety risks and lead post-event improvement efforts
During Critical Events
- Serve as the on-site Clinical Downtime Lead in Incident Command
- Cook up and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
- Coordinate downtime drills and real-time incident response
- Partner with Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, and Registration to optimize manual workflows
- Train clinical teams on downtime procedures and emergency readiness
- Track patient safety risks and lead post-event improvement efforts
Ideal Background
- We welcome candidates from: Nursing (RN), Clinical Operations, or Informatics
- Emergency Management or Patient Safety
- 3+ years in hospital-based clinical roles
- Strong communication, training, and coordination skills are key
