Clinical Downtime Coordinator - Nursing Administration

What You’ll Do

• Lead hospital-wide clinical downtime preparedness and response
• Develop and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
• Cook up and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
• Coordinate downtime drills and real-time incident response
• Partner with Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, and Registration to optimize manual workflows
• Train clinical teams on downtime procedures and emergency readiness
• Track patient safety risks and lead post-event improvement efforts

During Critical Events

• Serve as the on-site Clinical Downtime Lead in Incident Command
• Cook up and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
• Coordinate downtime drills and real-time incident response
• Partner with Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, and Registration to optimize manual workflows
• Train clinical teams on downtime procedures and emergency readiness
• Track patient safety risks and lead post-event improvement efforts

Ideal Background

• We welcome candidates from: Nursing (RN), Clinical Operations, or Informatics
• Emergency Management or Patient Safety
• 3+ years in hospital-based clinical roles
• Strong communication, training, and coordination skills are key
