Clinical Director of Outpatient Services

Responsibilities

The Director of Outpatient Services develops and administers a comprehensive partial organization program that responds to the community's needs and oversees all outpatient services in support of the organization's overall mission, philosophy, and goals. Integrates the management of outpatient services into the Behavioral Health System's continuum of care.

About the role

Brentwood Hospital is a 260-bed psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment facility located in Shreveport, Louisiana. Brentwood has served Louisiana, East Texas and South Arkansas for more than 45 years. We provide quality services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. We help individuals and families achieve optimal mental health, resulting in improved quality of life.

Essential Job Functions

• Designs partial treatment programs; all outpatient programs are adequately structured; treatment modalities are age and diagnosis specific, develops programs which easily interface with other inpatient and outpatient services provided by the organization
• Maintains effective, compatible relationships between the outpatient services and other programs provided within the Brentwood delivery system
• Carry out the personnel management activities associated with direct staff supervision, including screening and selection, orientation training and development, performance management, and employee relations functions

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s Degree in behavioral science or mental health-related field preferred, required.
• Experience: clinical, supervisory, and administrative experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings preferred
• Licensure/Certification: LCSW or LPC required
