Clinical Director of Intake and Assessment Service
Job Summary
May perform patient assessments as needed.
Promises direct clinical oversight of the patient access process.
Works collaboratively with hospital departments to provide services needed.
Models and trains other behavioral health team members on managing and tracking inquiry calls.
Tracks and reports on all key indicators related to calls, assessment, admissions.
Ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.
Provides input, suggestions and support appropriately.
Participates as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
Responsible for reporting department performance and for identifying trends/patterns that require intervention.
Completes additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date - Masters Degree(LCSW) Clinical Social Worker, or (LPC/LMHC) Licensed Professional/Mental Health Counselor, or (LMFT) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or (LMSW/RCSW-I) Lic Master Social Worker
